Welcome to 58th Dublin Cabinteely's website We are a small Scout troop based in Cabinteely/Foxrock Parish, in Deansgrange Blackrock. We have a Scout troop and
a Cub Pack, but no Beaver or Venture units at the moment. Our Scouts have about 20 scouts and our cubs about the same. We are a very active troop. We meet on a friday night
in Clonkeen College, and do a weekend activity on average every 4 weeks.
Scouts is based on an idea founded by Baden powell over 100 years ago. Scouts is the largest ever youth movement with over
20 million members worldwide. At cabinteely we are determined to embrace the old traditions of B.P. but also to welcome new ones as the times change.
Scouting is a movement for young people by young people, and scouting is open to everyone.
